Reproductive Education

            Puberty education is provided to students in 4th and 5th grade at Sunnyside Intermediate School.  A letter will be sent home with details of the specified date prior to the education.  Parents will also have a chance to sign a form to exclude their child from this education if they wish. The students will be split up by gender. The girls will be taught by Courtney Finneman, RN and the boys will be taught by their physical education teacher Mr. Lunak. Below are links for the video the girls will be watching and the video that the boys will be watching. Students will then have the opportunity to ask anonymous questions related to puberty.

A letter will be sent home with details of the specified date prior to the education.  Parents will also have a chance to sign a form to exclude their child from this education if they wish. The students will be split up by gender.
