Formula Grant Program

Title VI: Prohibits discrimination based on race, color or national origin in any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.  

Havre Public Schools Indian Education department applies annually for federal funding through the Title VI Indian Education Formula Grant program that assists American Indian and Alaska Native students in the Havre Public School district, grades K-12.

We believe that the academic success of Native students is grounded in a strong sense of cultural identity and belonging.

Funding is directly correlated to the ED 506 Form.
