Bio

2023-24 marks my 30th year in public education. I spent the first 12 years teaching Ag-Ed and being a FFA Advisor in Ekalaka, Big Sandy, and Big Timber. I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from MSU-Bozeman in 2005 and was offered my first superintendent position in Richey, MT that year. I spent 8 years in Richey as their superintendent. In 2013, I was offered the superintendent position in Big Sandy, MT and spent five years there. During the 2019-20 school year, I split superintendent duties between Sweet Grass County High School in Big Timber and Stanford and continued with Stanford for the 2020-21 year.  I came to Havre Schools in July of 2021.

In October of 2021 I was honored to by chosen as the Montana Superintendent of the Year.  I was proud to represent Montana at the National Conference on Education in February of 2022.

I am looking forward to the 2023-24 school year serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Havre Public Schools.     When not working I enjoy spending time walleye fishing and hunting with my wife Sheri and son Hunter.
