Assistant Superintendent

 

Holly Bitz has been in education for the past twenty-five years. She graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, earned a reading endorsement from Montana State University Northern and her principal and superintendent certification from Montana State University in Bozeman. 

She started her career in Great Falls as a teacher in a fourth-fifth grade combination class, looped to fifth grade and taught second and third grade during her six years there. In 2005, she moved to the Box Elder area where she taught kindergarten and third grade for the next seven years. Holly and her family moved into Havre where she taught fourth grade at Sunnyside from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, she became the principal at Lincoln-McKinley for nine years. In 2024, she became the Assistant Superintendent for Havre Public Schools.

Holly Bitz has lived in Havre for the last decade with her daughters and husband. They enjoy camping, road trips, and taking in the festivities that Havre has to offer. Go Blue Ponies!
